Auditions for Wizard of Oz junior ensemble now open

KD Theatre Productions, the producers behind ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at Saffron Hall this Christmas, are delighted to be holding an ‘open-audition’ for this year’s professional production.

This is the first time Saffron Hall has presented a family Christmas show and we are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to young people (aged between 9 and 16 yrs) to come along and audition to be a part of this year’s festive spectacular.

The creative team behind the production are looking for two teams of children who will perform alongside the professional performers at Saffron Hall over the Christmas Period.

Katherine Hickmott & Daniel Bell of KD Theatre said ‘We are very excited to be opening the doors to young theatrical talent for our first Christmas Production at Saffron Hall. Working with West End performers and a live professional band, this is the perfect opportunity for young adults who have a passion to perform. We are very much looking forward to seeing all the talented youngsters in September!’

The audition will be fun and informal, allowing all young people to enjoy the experience of the audition and dance on the Saffron Hall stage. No experience is necessary, just the willing to learn and have lots of fun!

The Open Auditions will take place on Sunday 19th September 2021 at Saffron Hall. Registration is required in advance of the audition.

10.00am – 11.30am (ages 9 – 11)
12.00pm – 1.30pm (ages 12 +)
