UNIT - SWCHS Year 9 Residency 2019

UNIT are the dance company for every body and bring together people that have never danced alongside those that have danced all their lives. In an exciting collaboration between Saffron Hall, Saffron Walden County High School and UNIT we will be creating and performing a new short work based on the difficulty of communication. We will be carefully selecting 20 students to take part in a 3 day intensive course that will bring together professional choreographers, dancers, film and new movement as created by the young dancers. Alongside the project we are looking for 3 or 4 aspiring young film makers to create the visuals supporting the movement of stage, working with film director Kate Flurrie. UNIT promise fun, challenge and the opportunity to learn something new about yourself and the group you’ll be working with and the chance to be part of a professional dance company.
