SWCHS Voices

We supported Saffron Walden High School to launch a brand new choir – SWCHS Voices. This new non-auditioning choir, led by acclaimed vocal leader Nick Shaw, was opened to all SWCHS students from September 2016, no singing experience required!

Monday 12 September – Year 7 Choir Competition!

Acclaimed choir leader Greg Beardsell worked with Year 7s at SWCHS to battle it out in Saffron Walden County High’s inaugural Inter-Form singing competition. Students worked on their performance during class time, and a winner was crowned on competition day – Thursday 20 October!

Tuesday 13 September – SWCHS Singing Day with Greg Beardsell and Gabrieli ROAR

In just one day, Greg helped to get over 2000 SWCHS students and teachers singing! Each year group was treated to a workshop with Greg, and had the chance to find out more about all the choirs on offer at SWCHS. This work was produced in partnership with Gabrieli’s choral outreach programme, Roar.
