London Philharmonic Orchestra: A Child of Our Time

London Philharmonic Orchestra: A Child of Our Time

Presented by Saffron Hall

Edward Gardner.

This monumental secular oratorio A Child of Our Time is a rare treat not to be missed.

Tippett’s arrangements of African American spirituals are at the heart of this powerful work, composed during WWII but ending in a spirit of healing and hope.
